Anyway, something I am considering

The Beastfolk are still licking their wounds from the Elven Conquest. Only the Gnolls remain on the Heroic side of the Dragon-bearing Barrier Range. The rest, led by the Orchestra (Orc-hestra) are slowly patching themselves back together and rebuilding the Beastfolk Confederacy slowly, year by year

The world also includes city Elves that are Default Characters, dwarves employing their industry and ingenuity creating a forest-scale food garden, halflings/Gnomes teaming up with clever fingers and gadgets to become the primary miners for the Heroic species, and human horselord battlemages

If I ever polished this to the point where I made a sourcebook, they would launch in pairs. One from the Heroic Species (D&D default hero races), and one from the perspective of the Beastfolk.

Cover the same things, sold together, but told from a biased perspective, not omniscient third person.

This is a post-apocalyptic culture that eked out survival when the entire world (even/especially their gods) turned their back on them, with vampire/zombie Yeenoghu curse (bad timeline endgame is 5e Gnolls), and a legally Not-Buffy whose entire job is to wipe out Yeenoghu's Hunger/infection.

Currently I am rewriting from scratch my hobby ttrpg world because I think my not-backed-up copy mighta died with an ssd (I know, I know).

Current/main obsession is rewriting Gnolls entirely, with an emphasis on actual culture, cultural ancestral necromantic veneration and a deep love of color

People who take that number seriously for any reason other than "hehehe number go up" I will always side eye, especially with the cultural questions in there that may be easier/harder to answer based on your background
