I made my high school friends watch Almost Famous the Labor Day weekend of our freshman year of college. I was not allowed to choose what we watched again.
What a movie you recommend to people with enthusiasm but find that few people you recommend it to like it as much as you do?
Me: Probably Prometheus, which has its fans but is objectively, fundamentally flawed. Also Pandorum.
(My non-genre tastes are very conventional.)

Not only is this remake completely unnecessary but the title's play on words is super dated in more ways than one.

Two things can be true:
1. We need to have an honest conversation about trans women (and trans men) in sports.
2. RW Grifters like G*ines are horrible people who will make that talk impossible.
