It made for a beautiful shot Mr del Toro with all those flaming torches on deck but in real life the tarred rigging would have been ablaze quickly followed by the powder magazine, however I adored this film. #Frankenstein

Billy Ruffian has gone from doing the wall of death round the house to a basking in front of the fire hound pretty quickly, he was suspicious of the stove to start with but now he's loving it. #DogsOfBlueSky #RescueDog #SkyDogs

I’ve not done much #knitting recently because the dog loves to try and eat my yarn. I have bought a retro sewing table so I can tuck it away when I go to put the kettle on!

My old chest freezer gave up the ghost, even with next day delivery for a new one, three big freezer bags and many ice packs I couldn't save the contents to refreeze but at least they were still very cold so I set about batch cooking. I now have many portions of soup, curry and a stew. #cooking
