2 years ago, Valencia College opened its first VCentials market, a one-stop shop designed to support students in need. The resource center provides free access to healthy, nutritious food and hygiene items in a store-like environment on campus, and has already received over 60K visits.

Her professors recognize her for her ambition, strong work ethic, and problem-solving skills. By combining technical expertise with a desire to serve others, she is laying the foundation for a career that will not only support her ambitions but also make a positive impact on her community.

Together, this group packed 1,022 food parcels - 12.8 tonnes of essential kai (food) for families in need, coming together to fight food insecurity in Aotearoa.

Special thanks to our volunteers, including members of the Metallica Family, #MeetTheNeed ambassador FarmUpNZ, and Kiwi rugby legend Sir Michael Jones, along with his wife, Maliena Jones.

In partnership with Live Nation New Zealand and CNH Industrial, we’re giving back to two local organizations that are fighting hunger and providing critical local services within their communities: Meet The Need and Auckland Women's Centre.

Special thanks to our volunteers, including members of the #MetallicaFamily & #CNH team, who donated their time for a shift at Foodbank NSW & ACT, where they moved an amazing 7,920kg of food, enough to create approximately 14,256 meals for individuals.

Currently, Emil serves as an assistant instructor while enrolled in a degree pathway within CSN’s Manufacturing Technician I program & interns with local manufacturer Sunshine Minting.
