If big news sites - in this case Canada’s public broadcaster via the AP - could be a touch less complicit in covering for Spotify’s robbery of musicians, that would be nice.

I believe creating this jpeg is one of my greatest achievements in my sad little life.

I remember sprinting to the store to get this 1996 reissue. I was REALLY into Hawkwind at that time. No matter how dubious the release, I would buy it. Of course, ‘Space Ritual’ is the original codex.

Got my first copy of ‘The Young Person’s Guide to King Crimson’ at age 16, someone nicked it, then it took me about 30 years to replace it. Great photos in the booklet.

Me on a stage at a literary festival, @wordstocksudbury.bsky.social, answering questions about my book. Can’t say I ever envisioned that happening.

You don’t need to read the article to figure out how they’re managing that…

I’m on two panels at this fine lit fest, Wordstock, in the nearest bigger city, Sudbury, on October 25. Turns out I do like to talk.

Anyone else love this one? I’ve probably listened to it a couple of hundred times over the years. The best blend of electronic music with any kind of traditional music I’ve ever heard.

A) they could just spend less time on their screens and…read for pleasure?
B) the mainstream media seems to think it has an obligation to report on every ephemeral TikTok trend like it actually has some significance. It’s another pathetic sign of the death of journalism.

Um…
September 25, 2025 at 7:06 PM
The media, even here, still has no idea how to handle reporting on this asshole. ‘Lack of clear evidence’??? Give me a break. How hard is it to call insane lies what they are?
