It's disturbing to see how quickly people facing adversity for real, for the first time, are looking at 2A

I know how history is rhyming right now, but we haven't finished the verse and still have the ability to be creative with 1A

4 Lakota men were kidnapped by ICE in Minneapolis. 3 of them were taken to what used to be a concentration camp for Native people, and the only people talking about it are other Indigenous people. I am angry but mostly numb, I am so used to this at this point. We are always forgotten.

Honestly, one kind of basic but easily-skipped thing I want people to do: *Talk to people you know*

Tell them these stories

Tell your less-online relatives, coworkers, and friends. Ask them if they know what's happening in Minneapolis and tell them some things you've seen

People do not know

A union worker at Ford was caught on video heckling President Trump as a “pedophile protector” when he visited a Dearborn factory on Tuesday. After the video went viral showing Trump responding in kind, the union says the worker has been suspended by Ford.

I know some of y'all are trying to protect your sanity by not engaging with family who are deep in the red but, no one else has the perspective you have to get in their brains and find a way out of the maze the media created to trap their minds

Wind and Truth was supposed to be _escapism_ dammit.

Very well paced, relative to other sanderslanche-heavy entries, though, and I think I liked how things ended.

I am ready for the next series, with On The Beach by Nevil Shute as my in-between book.

Ugh, that is disappointing. Also disappointing that he's getting cozy with crooked media and other libs who I feel often operate with statistics rather than some moral or ethical guidance that supports more than just the status quo
Wrote about how disappointing it is that Jon Stewart punched down on people masking at @motherjones.com, when people should mind their own business and leave mask wearers be. www.motherjones.com/politics/202...
Hey Jon Stewart, jokes about wearing masks aren't funny
Critics of the Daily Show host say he's a hypocrite.

Genuinely asking: has James Talarico ever credited Laverne Cox for the "wrong 1%" line I see his campaign use to great success?

If not...why?

And if he was the first, well, kudos

I see too many examples of white people from brown eye blue eye IRL that I wonder if they actually live with all the facts or are blessedly ignorant to the troubles they float over

Every single one takes some pain they experience and project it through the black experience like it's the same thing

Putting this on the record now, Brian Mast is not one of the signatures for the discharge petition to release the Epstein Files. Standing up for what’s right should always be the priority, regardless of party affiliation. Support my campaign to win FL-21.

There's no reason to keep a bunch of democratic senators around who are going to fold when the donors come knocking
