I would like to clarify and say that there's nothing wrong with not enjoying the direction the writer is taking the character. That's a completely normal response. What isn't normal is being entitled to a character that isn't yours and throwing fits when it doesn't go your way.

What I dislike the most about that 'criticism' is that some people act like THEY own the characters, rather than the person who literally created them. Nothing wrong with having alternate takes/interpretations, but man can some "I can do better" mfs be entitled.
