In one of James Cameron's early movies involving aliens, a smart character says "nuke them from orbit, just to be sure." It was a great line. It's also the exact thing that a greedy, militaristic Earth would have done to Pandora after Avatar 1, but he seems to have forgotten his own smart character.

Reading Vancouver fan reactions regarding the Hughes mess, and I'm just very thankful that Gabe Landeskog is the captain of the Colorado Avalanche. He could have bailed after any number of crappy seasons, but the fans never had to worry he wouldn't stick it out.
