I guess my argument was something like, “Oh. I guess you can write a book that is both thoughtful and cozy. Who knew?” It’s brilliant and extremely literary. A book about a bookstore that isn’t there to list titles and make people feel smart but is set there for a meaningful reason. Powerful stuff.
