Arresting journalists and silencing reporting is not “law and order”. It’s a warning sign of unchecked power. When press freedom is attacked, everyone’s rights become fragile
The arrest of Don Lemon is textbook fascism—a brazen attempt to silence reporting on a criminal regime. Stand up for Don, because our rights stand and fall with those of courageous journalists throughout this country.

Trump Erupts at Republicans Over Kristi Noem as Her Support Suddenly Slips

As DHS Secretary Noem’s position grows shakier, the author of a piece on Minneapolis explains how the courage of ordinary people turned this story around—and how Trumpworld totally lost control of it.

She knows the difference between carry and brandish
She knows what incitement looks like
So why does it keep happening?
Marjorie Taylor Greene accidentally telling the truth.

She knows the difference between lawful carry and brandishing. She knows incitement when she sees it. She even admits people are being pushed toward civil war.

This isn’t a protest song, it’s a letter to a city and its people
I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Apparently, sidewalks are now federal crime scenes
I've been sent video from the end of the ICE raid at the Zipps on 32nd and Shea.

It shows protesters -- on the sidewalk, impeding no one -- getting drive-by maced by an ICE agent from a truck as it rolls away down the road.

Hard to see how such tactics are justifiable.

When the state points a weapon at its own people, it’s not just policy that’s broken. It’s our humanity
“OUR HUMANITY” is under assault by our own government.

When law enforcement breaks the law, what do we call it? When candidates name it, we call that courage
We’re airing a new campaign ad, starting tomorrow.

Here it is:

When President Obama says ‘this has to stop, we should all listen. Justice isn’t partisan, it’s personal. From California to Tennessee, we must speak out
The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.

We saw the videos. We heard the screams. The real threat is not hiding. It is governing

Mr. Rogers said “look for the helpers.” But what if the system marks them first?
"They say they're coming to save us from some evil? They're talking about our neighbors who take care of us ... Alex was murdered while he was helping. Mr Rogers said look for the helpers, & right now the helpers have a target on our forehead ... Mr Rogers would be here right now too, so I'm here."

Democracy isn’t defended by slogans alone, but sometimes, a sign in the dark is where it begins
We knew Trump's second presidency would bring unprecedented challenges to our freedoms and we were ready to fight back on day one.

We've blocked unconstitutional executive orders, mobilized millions of people in the streets, and helped pass key protections for civil liberties in states and cities.

If the evidence supports this, it deserves a full and transparent investigation
I've been waiting for this.

Independent autopsy of Renee Good is in. It's strong evidence against Agent Ross, given what it means about the second or third shot through the left-side window.

It's the second and third shots that make the easiest criminal case of a willful killing.

If this is accurate, this is deeply disturbing. Law enforcement does not get to intimidate random residents for being curious
Scenes from occupied Minneapolis: "3 SUVs ICE officers driving down 21st to 42nd street. The ice officer rolled down his window and took a photo of me and said 'I got you motherfucker'. I am just a home owner going outside to see what was going on."
