New preprint! How often do editors/reviewers actually compare preregistrations to the reporting in the article? Almost never. This figure sums up all of the results. Not good.

Psychologists can learn a lot about reproducibility and replicability from other fields. For example, particle physics: hdsr.mitpress.mit.edu/pub/1lhu0zvn... I find this an inspirational overview of how far particle physicists go to counter biases, and increase rigour.
