One of the things that amazes me after all this time in the UK is that I see the different shades of grey sky...
In Sardinia there is only grey and blue.
Here there is dark grey, light grey, shiny grey, foggy grey, not-that-bad grey, cloudy grey, grey where you can see shadows of blue...

The plasmid evolution community is an amazing group of nice, kind and interesting people.
And being all together discussing all our plasmid problems from all our different perspectives was really cool!

Google reminds me that it's been 2 years since this picture and the Workshop on plasmids as vehicles of AMR spread.
We did our best to reorganize it this year but we couldn't get any funding .
We haven't given up on the workshop and at some point we will organize another edition!

top tip: if anybody speaks about Sardinia and Tuscany as if they were more or less the same thing, believe me, they do not have a grip of the situation!
(Tuscany was turisty since 1700, a very small corner of Sardinia came up in the turists radar in 1970s thanks to Aga Khan and a James Bond movie)

Also, since I hung the line in the garden in May, I only once got the clothes back wetter than I hung them thanks to the odd shower...

I hung out the clothes to dry in the garden at 6pm and got them back now... many are already dry!!!
