With this shot of a butterfly then an ornithopter Children of Dune is telling us: "Yes, we know they were supposed to flap their wings. It was just too big a challenge for the original mini series, and now we're stuck with the design."

Wow, I just noticed in The Witcher 1 for the special attack of the group steel fighting style Geralt uses both swords at the same time: silver in left, steel in right. I wonder if the blade coatings of the silver sword have an effect.

Fun fact: In The Witcher video game if you have a dagger in your small weapon slot, Geralt might use it for an execution move even when it's not held. He will stuck the equipped sword in the ground, pull out the dagger and jump on the enemy, stab a lot, then jump back and pick back up his sword.

Amazing scene from The Partnership when a Soviet delegation visits NASA and learns about American consumerism at a shopping mall.
November 15, 2025 at 6:58 AM
Oh, turns out Aquaman originated as a hero to fight the U-boats in the battle of the Atlantic.

I hate the Dr. Helmet redesign. I thought they just drew it wrong accidentally in one issue, but no, it's on the cover of the next issue, too. This is intentional.

November 14, 2025 at 1:53 AM
I'm sorry, they "nosed" it?
November 12, 2025 at 11:19 PM
OMG, the Hulk is running down Park Ave from the Pan Am building. That's where the famous Avengers scene is. (Stark Tower is where the Pan Am building was.)
November 10, 2025 at 3:46 AM
Oh, this is where it starts the iconic leave money for stolen clothes shtick. (Terror in Times Square)
November 10, 2025 at 2:44 AM
Hilarious role reversal gag.

A movie made the Apollo-Soyuz mission happen.
November 9, 2025 at 7:00 AM
Let's go, the best Sherlock Holmes in The Incredible Hulk.
November 8, 2025 at 3:15 AM
OMG, when Bill Bixby puts down the cub, it wants to climb back on his lap! It's adorable!
November 6, 2025 at 5:10 PM
I just like this shot of Lou Ferrigno as the Hulk holding a real tiger cub.
November 6, 2025 at 5:06 PM
It's like a movie. The outer shell has "Salyut 2" on it, but then it falls away revealing the "Almaz" name of the military station.
November 6, 2025 at 5:13 AM
I just learned that Alec Guinness played Hitler.
