If I had a nickel for every time the team captain for a Professional Sports Team from Indianapolis had a career year derailed by a torn Achilles knocking them out for a full season in 2025 I'd have two nickels.
Which isn't much but it sucks that it's happened twice.

We know Izzet decks are strong in standard. Been the best color pair for 8 months and got 7 cards banned in two waves.
But seriously, when’s the last time UR has been this good? Was there a STX/KHM control deck? Was it KLD/SOI energy?

Hoping a #MTG historian can help.
We know Izzet decks are strong in standard. Been the best color pair for 8 months and got 7 cards banned in two waves.

4-2 at the Cincy Club CubeCon today! Went 2-1 in both pods, only losing to the 3-0 both times. Had a blast and a good tuneup for Madison in a few months.
