This is the historic Coppley Building located on York Blvd in Hamilton Ontario. Erected in 1856, the Coppley Building is one of the finest surviving pre-Confederation commercial buildings in Canada. The cut-stone structure, which dates to 1856, was home to suit maker Coppley Apparel for more than a century. This building along with its redbrick counterpart (1911) are currently undergoing massive restoration. The adaptive reuse project will span over 100,000 square feet and include a restaurant, cafe, bar, and event spaces. The project will feature 96 residential with mix hotel units. It is expected to be completed by Summer 2026

Waking, like Alice, through a looking glass in search of another kind of world with the camera. The banality of the everyday is what surrounds us, but the desire to escape from that banality is strong. Yet there is evidence of beauty in the mundane world. You just have to see.
