I was aware of this before you were born, and I agree with your point here.
MY POINT was, the populist RU disinfo-imposed trend to override professional, laws-regulated, merit-based foreign policy / military apparatus with "voters' choice" is a road to chaos, genocide and loss of West statehoods.

Judging from the map, no strategic depth, no contingency to absorb any above-peer attack on Venezuela's part.
