Great start to the day with @neilselwyn.bsky.social problematizing AI in education and society. Can't wait until the new book hits stores. We need to make education AI a political issue, not getting distracted from how it's entangled with deeper structural issues and challenges to public education.

Läser på nytt Ungdomsbarometerns generationsrapport 2025 (åldersspannet 15-24). 3 av 4 ser ljust på sin egen framtid. Positivt, särskilt eftersom bara 1 av 4 ser ljust på samhällets framtid. Många vill bli rika medan intresset för samhällsfrågor minskar. Här finns ett jobb att göra. #svepol #skola

Revisited #Claude #Notion MCP for edu research purposes. Still issues w/ pagination (large database). Obsidian still no option due to loading times from what I see. However, exporting db to CSV and loading it into Project knowledge seems to work much better w/ Sonnet 4: accurate, OK speed, creative.

Revisited #Claude #Notion MCP for edu research purposes. Still issues w/ pagination (large database). Obsidian still no option due to loading times from what I see. However, exporting db to CSV and loading it into Project knowledge seems to work much better w/ Sonnet 4: accurate, OK speed, creative.
Like many others after the first months of the pandemic, I looked for distance-friendly ways to pass time. Some obviously became habits. Just sad to see the direction @duolingoverde.bsky.social has taken since with its AI move & subsequent backclash, ending in hard-to-navigate mess and tarnish.

On the AI we never asked for. Learned my paper has a "fancy title", it's a "crazy digital world", and teachers are "digital wizards". Top #postdigital insight? "Digital and physical realities are sooo intertwined they're like spaghettis in a bowl: can't tell where one begins and the other ends". 🙈
