#6 - Captain America - Cap does have a good classic costume recently released freeing me up here for a much sillier choice. Have you ever though Captain America would be cooler if he were a werewolf? No? Well it did happen and it'd be fun to include!

#5 - Blade - imo the least successful of all the designs in game - he looks too try hard with his bad tribal tattoos and posery shades. I actually have two here.
His debut look - he needs his 70's outfit with the afro and popped collar!
Sleeveles movie look - let the man get his guns out!

#4 - Black Widow - speaking of overdesigned black costumes... I strongly dislike the trend to give Natasha glowing lines all over on what is meant to be a stealth based hero.
To contrast, I suggest 90's butch Black Widow in her clean grey bodysuit with a popped collar you can't see here.

#3 Black Panther - T'Challa is a man of style - it's hard to go wrong with Black, but I also kinda think that's where these things can go wrong - so much gold or silver trimming on MCU inspired designs, I'd kinda want a back to basics look that strips that all away for simple elegance.

#2 - Angela's default look is going for barbarian-chic with an outfit designed to make you look at her positive excess of muscles. To complement this, it's gotta be Angela 1602 - dramatic curls and green scalemail give her an Pre-Raphaelite energy, or maybe just Florence Welch?

#1 - Adam Warlock - Infinity Gauntlet is probably the most famous Adam Warlock story of all, and so it naturally has to be this; an absolute black bodysuit with thigh high red boots and shoulder high gloves, accessorised with the Infinity Gauntlet.
Ready for cosmic battle and the catwalk.

Ooh, my Mum posted about it too elsewhere and she recieved a strong contender: a tooth from a "road milling machine" - not something I was familiar with!

Don't suppose anyone has an idea what this object is we found in the recently expanded paths in our local woods. The protrusion on thr top seem to be some kinda broken weld maybe?
I'm somewhat concerned it looks like a small shell or something?

I don't have carveries often, probably less than once a year, but I think owners don't understand what it means when they say"help yourself to roast potatoes"

A D&D character who I'd been playing for a year was recently disintegrated by the Big Bad. She was a reporter who'd ended up with the group to hide from a cult, and been unlocking her fire giant heritage. She stole a mysterious orb from them, but was hit by disintegrate as she tried to disengage...

Was thinking about character who I'd like to play in Marvel Rivals, and then just decided to draw some - starting with Bishop cos a guy who absorbs damage from other attacks to unleash it could be a very fun mechanic.
I'm very much team big long hair when it comes to Bishop designs.

So because my long time home game D&D character is called Urania, and there was that delightfully cringe-inducing scene in @erikaishii.bsky.social's "Hint" series involving a statue of the Muse Urania in @worldsbeyondnumber.bsky.social, I'm afraid I had to design her a cursed costume...

At this point, new additions to my bird list I've seen in the UK have all been vagrants this year, as today I made possibly the smallest detour I've ever done (a small lake next to the A1 on the way back from London) to finally add Ferruginous Duck: also delightfully known as the "Fudge Duck"

Just a brief interlude cos its rare I come across a taxon of mammals that I just categorically haven't heard of before: meet the zokors - six species of rodent with mole like parralel evolutionary features which live in Central Asia and have minimal info on wikipedia for!

Like many of the earlier comics I read, it did leave me with the odd impression that certain Marvel characters were much bigger deals than they actually are, in this case, minor X-villain Post.
Like, this arc is probably his most notable appearance and he dies in it 😅

Had a night away in Norfolk for some nature time, did see one new bird species and a bunch I rarely get to see, but actually my favourite photo of the trip was of a very common bird: the carrion crow.

Errr, google, while I would like to see a Pygmy Cormorant, chanting it's name at me isn't a substitute for a diversity of species....

One thing about going to see rare wading birds like this vagrant Baird's Sandpiper at Rutland Water today, is you walk miles to see them but when you do find them at least they are complete derpuses who put on a show and just walk right up to people.

A very rare sighting of a wide spread species a least weasel at Summer Leys, Northamptonshire just now.
They are the smallest of all carnivorans but proportionate to their size, among the most powerful of the whole family!

Went fossiling near Peterborough this afternoon and got a couple of highlights - a small tetrapod, a prettoly weathered segment of a decent size ammonite and a shark tooth!
Anyone got any ID thoughts kn the tooth or bone let me know! 🙂

If you asked me who my single favourite superhero was, I think eventually after much hand wringing I'd say She-hulk.
There's just something about a hero who believes in justice and de-escalation, who has dysphoria, trauma and anxiety and is pulled between heroics and normalcy that resonates.

I don't want to embarass the people this talks about by naming them, but here is another poem from today - "Miracles".
