I went for the hunk o' ham because it looked more manageable. I may be regretting that choice if it doesn't go well with the cranberry orange relish. We could have a thanksgiving redo on Saturday.

I have my tower of Trader Joe's sides ready to become our stress less Thanksgiving buffet.

Hey, US newborn, do you want to risk chronic liver disease in a country where healthcare is a luxury good?

That's in Kentucky.

Sounds terrific. I love savory versions of desserts.

Medicine is always tragic, as our trade involves slowing the inevitable entropic processes of illness and death.

But when a patient suffers a bad outcome because they can’t afford a med that WAS WORKING? That hurts.

That sounds awful.

How he bungled the worst whooping cough outbreak in Louisiana in thirty years. Two babies died.

He's as qualified as RFK Jr.
Louisiana officials waited months to warn public of whooping cough outbreak
After a whooping cough outbreak killed two infants, Louisiana health officials waited months to officially alert physicians or do public outreach. That's not the typical public health response.

My kitchen came with a built-in—uncleanable—wooden cutting board. What were people thinking!?

I beeped briefly to alert a guy backing out of that he was about to hit me. Too late to let him go ahead—I was already in his path. He stopped but was visibly enraged. Puzzling, until I noticed he was coming out of the strip mall "men's health" clinic.

I'm sure this will be fine.
