There was a whole series of them. I remember one being a small black book with a fold out cover. You had to fight monsters on different floors of a tower or cave network to get crystals, and on one page you had to choose between grabbing a sword or a scorpion.

I came away from this episode annoyed at myself because I used to buy these choose your own adventure books when we would go on holiday to Dumfries and now I can't remember what any of them were called to find them again.
