Oh no worries, I didn’t mind parting with them 😄 I don’t feel much attachment to the older cards, though I’m still holding on to a few more treasures until the time is right.

I also like collecting a few tcgs mainly for the illustrations, it’s a fun hobby as long as you keep the budget in check 😅

Also agreeing with the investment aspect.. Considering the unpredictable market, it doesn’t seem like a safe bet. Coming from a relatively casual hobbyist background, the value is just a nice extra to have.

Yeah, while Bluesky isn’t perfect and has its own problems, it’s easier to post more casually here and I appreciate the less manic atmosphere. Twitter feed just kept bombarding me with drama and information I didn’t need to know while showing less art and other interests.

Indeed, one would believe algorithms would help to cater the feed to the user’s preferences, but it’s clearly not working that way there. It also keeps pushing that cursed subscription service, but I refuse to pay Elon a single cent.

Yeah, it really is too bad how Twitter went the way it did… It’s been difficult to completely ignore because I still have my largest following there, but every time I scrolled through the app, it just brought down my mood.

I will still likely log in to post the occasional new piece, but I don’t want to actively use it anymore.

The biggest thing I’ll miss will be art from many favorite artists who never made the jump here. Though at this point the feed wasn’t even showing me their works regardless.
