I get the need to have breaks of heavy political topics, I just don’t agree with the notion that you can just escape politics, there’s no nuke button and asking to be permanently left out of being political is just not a thing.
I do however, choose not to read a lot of things, you can hide.

I get the need to have breaks of heavy political topics, I just don’t agree with the notion that you can just escape politics, there’s no nuke button and asking to be permanently left out of being political is just not a thing.

That’s the thing with politics, like it or not you’re always actively participating. And yeah it is exhausting, but shielding yourself from that it also political, that’s just the world.
You’re allowed to take little breaks and you don’t have to be an activist, but politics are just everywhere.

All I was saying before is that we should be doing exactly what you did. And with that I'm not saying you're immune any harm, I'm saying you're better off; and by how you described your experience earlier, yeah, you are. I get none of what you said.

No one could argue that at all. Girl, I'm saying you're pretty and you look cis, you're at the same risk any cis woman is, not at the same risk most trans women are (big difference)

I’m not saying you’re wrong in theory. I’m saying that when you’re already pretty and cis-passing, dismissing cispassing as irrelevant sounds disconnected from how most of us experience risk.

I just switched to brave, it's supposedly cool but it also has an AI assistant and something about crypto. I don't mess with it but it's also just faster than edge.

I don't know if this is helfpful but I've learnt to just not read things. Like if there's too much text I just drift off and never find out whatever missinformation is being spread.
Ignorance feels weird at first but if something is important, someone you trust more is gonna tell you about it.

I want to clarify here that english is not my first language and I got things mixed up.
I meant to say that if you pass and are pretty you're *less likely* to be assaulted by a cop. Which is probably just as controversial but at least is not a language mistake.
