I'd need to find a source but it's been some years, but I seem to remember an article about one of the big studios (with regards to CoD?) saying that this was absolutely a deliberate tactic. Crowd up people's limited storage space to keep them just on your game.

Put plenty of hours into that game. Definitely a personal favourite, for all it's flaws.

It is constrained by needing to fit inside rank and file units without bashing into other models, but they were definitely more cautious than they needed to be. I can't honestly say I hate the model but it's nothing special.

What specific examples triggered this thought? Legitimately curious as I do agree they've made some questionable choices but nothing springs to mind recently

They keep talking like it's a real AI so much when it's just a chatbot with a huge database to scrape answers from. It almost makes me wonder if these CEOs and heads of AI bullshit genuinely THINK (or have been made to think) that they do have REAL AI....

Also like... The queer community has ALWAYS been a huge part of Tabletop RPGs, maybe not always involved in the official writing but around the table? Absolutely

Really enjoyed this one. Double Eagle was a sleeper hit for me so I was so happy when this book was announced. Likewise did not disappoint.

Also yes, my painting space is organised chaos. It works for me :P
