More than just the Fairbanks area. The dreaded “black stratus” (possibly trademarked by our friend Mr. Stevens) from the middle Tanana Valley downriver past Tanana and over much of the middle and lower Koyukuk valley.

I prefer the ensemble views. This does not alleviate the boundary layer physics problems but I can work with that. From
