Hahaha, yeah. And we've been using Pen/Strep for decades in tissue culture quite successfully so I guess it is "vintage" but also reliable.

A lot of us co-teach, especially after the pandemic where we might lose days or weeks due to illness. But other highly specialized classes in STEM also have expertise we bring in for sections of courses.
