Ok, Metroid Prime is starting to hook me. Initially I was a bit frustrated wandering aimlessly shooting random creatures but then it kinda clicked with me that it was exactly what I did in Metroid way back when on the NES. Think I’ll keep at it to see where things go.

I’m eager to add these Metroid Amiibo to the collection, but I’m not paying full price for them anymore. Been burned too many times now. No sir, no thank you.

Had to take it apart a second time and re-check all the connections, but looks like my Retroid Pocket 5 is back in business. Now for some GBA goodness.

Thanks to my nephew, I got some quality hands on time with the Switch 2. My old eyes appreciated the larger display, the UX and shop felt super snappy and Mario Kart looked and played great. I would absolutely need a grip case for it as the device feels incredibly thin and flat in my hands.

Today I joined a gathering of Silly Creatures holding signs that read “NO KINGS!” I can only assume they were protesting against the Gorgs, and who could blame them?
