Ok, Metroid Prime is starting to hook me. Initially I was a bit frustrated wandering aimlessly shooting random creatures but then it kinda clicked with me that it was exactly what I did in Metroid way back when on the NES. Think I’ll keep at it to see where things go.

I should really try and finish a Metroid Prime game. As much as I love 2D Metroid, I’ve never been able to get any of the Prime games to the finish line.

Thanks to my nephew, I got some quality hands on time with the Switch 2. My old eyes appreciated the larger display, the UX and shop felt super snappy and Mario Kart looked and played great. I would absolutely need a grip case for it as the device feels incredibly thin and flat in my hands.
