Sadly this is definitely Mo’s last season with us. I think if we get a deal for Semenyo done quickly in January then we either sell Mo or rotate the 2 to allow Semenyo time to settle

I hate how every pundit when asked about any player responds with the “I’m a huge fan of them” line. Just once I’d love one of them to say what they really think and call them rubbish or that they hate them, cos I bet they do off camera

Wirtz was best player on the pitch, closely followed by Gomez. West Ham were poor but we kept them at arms length for almost all of the game apart from a Bowen shot near the end. We looked a lot more solid than we have done for a while without being spectacular but a win is a win

So many “oh my god” moments in that episode. I literally had to pick my jaw up at least a couple of times.

It could be used for ones where they’ve been hit in the chest / stomach area and they go down claiming a head injury especially when they’ve got a breakaway against them. They’ve got a long way to go to catch up with how good they use the technology in rugby and other sports

I’ve thought about this and don’t understand why VAR can’t have a feed with a 10 delay on it, head injury and ref says check that whilst play carries on if it’s genuine stop the game if it’s fake then it’s simulation and a booking. It would stop the tactic straight away imo.
