You could still have the “by mutual consent” as well if both club and manager agreed outside of any windows that it just didn’t work out. Sadly it’s just a part of football that all managers will at some point get sacked. Only a few like Klopp/Pep/SAF in modern football have never been sacked

Someone once suggested that there should be a window like there is for transfers. I think that would be a better way and at least a manager would know at least they’ll get a few months in a job.

It’ll never happen due to the fact it’s any easy pay day for them. 3 year contracts with a guaranteed pay off if they get sacked for being rubbish or just being the wrong person at the wrong time. Who’s going to refuse those type of terms? I wouldn’t

Once argued with a boss when he told me I had to take my work phone with me on my breaks. I asked am I now on paid breaks? If so fine, if not I’m not taking it. He walked off in a huff and I still never took my phone on breaks

Time flies, 15 years since FSG won the court case against H&G to take over LFC. Days away from administration and potentially out of business altogether. FSG have made mistakes but in the main they’ve been good owners in making sure the club got back to where it belongs without cheating financially

They’ve teased it for a few weeks but it’s dumb how quick they did it, if Seth is only out for a few weeks they could have built it up more whilst he was gone and maybe had them turn against him after losing War Games
