How many of us have to die until then? How many injuries, how many close calls, how many people stop riding their bike or never start, for fear of dangerous drivers on streets engineered to kill? And how should we believe they would ever actually build something in *2029*?

She was killed in a crosswalk. She had the right of way. A turning driver failed to yield.

I’ve seen a driver strike and kill a pedestrian with my own eyes. Our roads are built for speed and vehicle throughput, not safety.

Look, if you can figure out a way for me not to be hot while riding in the winter I’m all ears.

We made Afghan Rambo (from the first movie, not the jingoistic latter ones) and he allegedly killed two random National Guards who got sent on a pointless fascist errand they didn't sign up for. Just the churning machine destroying people for nothing.

These people have obviously never used a crosswalk. At the crosswalks near me, cars will not stop for you until you step out. So you have to use your right of way, then be prepared to run/retreat if they don't stop. Not an option for kids, seniors, mobility impaired people.

“Human Resources” at least reveals the extractive nature of the exercise.
