@ivacheung.com can I ask you a question about personal domain ownership?

What do you think of alternatives to first name/last name. Or using .ca?

A random company is squatting on the .com of my name.

@aidanmoher.com As someone with a personal domain, can I ask?

What's your opinion on alternatives from first name last name. Someone's squatting on the .com of my name.

This is the most, "Vancouver acting like other cities" fact I've ever learned.

Vancouver's Broadway street was named after New York's Broadway, with the goal of giving the growing city a more "cosmopolitan" feel.

The street was originally called 9th Avenue and was renamed Broadway in 1909.

I think I'm starting to understand the vibe on Commercial Drive in Vancouver and am in a place in life where I kinda love it.

I wish we lived closer.

So, today I'm announcing a new book project... and doing a call for papers: crpgbook.wordpress.com/2025/10/31/t...

It's an anthology of video game history outside the usual US perspective - an accessible & exciting panorama of different realities - and I'll pay 300 USD per article.

Please share :)

Is this a logical fallacy?

Framing, personnel government and service cuts as savings.

Public: yay, savings!

Or

Public: Boo, cuts!

The following agencies "Came up with some of the higher savings."

This Douglas Fir is over 800 years old.

In 1225 it grew into our world while in England, Henry III reaffirms the Magna Carta.

That is wild!

Have all of you been doing it this way the whole time?!

Instead of digging inside the duvet cover frantically trying to match each corner.

I could have simply put it inside out, tied the corners and then flipped it right side out?

If no one was smiling for family photos in the 1900s when did the idea of smiling for a photo start?

Also, how neat is it to find a photo of your great and great-great grandfather's.

Aidan Anderson would have been a much more catchy name.

Transit needs better temperature control.

In Vancouver it feels the only way to regulate body temperature is to strip down to a bathing suit while aboard a bus.

Good luck when you step back outside into the rain and temperatures 10-15 degrees cooler.
