They started wasting PAGES on how many seconds it takes Geronimo to shower, brush his teeth, and put on clothes when he realizes he's late to work... dude you used to write about treasure hunts on a deserted island while being a family of city mice dodging a ship of pirate cats!!! What happened !!!!

It would be one thing if you work as an animator and someone comes up to you with a pristine bit of Disney magic provided by a prompt and says you don’t have a job, that would be terrible but you could see the cruel mercenary nature of it, but it’s like your boss comes up to you and shows you this

So now I'm just figuring it out alongside everyone else who also needs to eat their veggies and deal with the ants taking over their bathroom, which is good I guess. Except my taxes are also super fucked

Even more than being raised by bad rich people, I'm mad I was raised by weak, stupid rich people. They neither had the strength to say "You don't need friends who treat you like that" nor the mind to say "these are the traits you need to mask to get close to those kids who have what you need"

Like, they wanted me to stick around a certain type of person, but every time they left me alone with an Approved Person I just got bullied or pedophiled on, and they wonder now why I don't want to hang out with anyone they like???

Like they have no clue that being a preppy, optimistic rich person with normal rich person interests isn't, like, genetic, it's something you're supposed to cultivate in your kids from a young age lest they Stray. And they didn't cultivate shit. So I'm fucked for life

I said more likely, not that I would. Only time I've cried at this job is when the fryer spat black smoke into my eyes. I didn't even cry when the malfunctioning hot case window broke two of my fingers.
