#Britain didn’t stop expanding #aviation, it just stopped admitting that it wants to. Many still argue about #Heathrow as if it’s the only decision that matters, but the real story in the 2020s is quiet, distributed expansion everywhere else!

#Britain didn’t stop expanding #aviation, it just stopped admitting that it wants to. Many still argue about #Heathrow as if it’s the only decision that matters, but the real story in the 2020s is quiet, distributed expansion everywhere else!

This image from Indian SM circles has me in a fit. Millions of engineers in the country and not one could design a proper and safe flyover in Bombay.
I can already imagine people flying over the edge, ending up in the shacks of the slum below. Not that human life has any value in India lol.

If you thought creating a third runway for Heathrow was a pain to plan and get done, imagine proposing a fourth one further west, one that would cover over large sections of existing reservoirs and run deep into National Trust land near Windsor Castle

In a just world a coalition of the willing would have firmed to liberate the Palestinians just as they did when Iraq invaded Kuwait. It’s a shame we value oil more than human life.

Been on a sort of a hiatus for my substack and I haven’t written in over a month to focus on my PhD work but it’s fascinating how all of a sudden some articles of mine are being read again, in just under a week some have even doubled their views.
