Thanks for the info. I try not to leap to “fuck Trump” conclusions without some research. Not always successfully. This is a case in point.

Just did a bit of reading. She’s in court in a few days. If they find any evidence of her making pornography then she will/may be charged. Up to 15 years. Seems there is no evidence atm. Local lawyers posit she’ll be deported & blacklisted. Asian prosecutors & police don’t like losing face.

She’s in a Bali jail. As someone that lived in Bali for 15 years the Indonesians are warm welcoming and friendly people. Break the law on drugs or morals and the penalties are strictly applied and harsh. There is no leniency just because you’re a tourist. There is no bribing your way out.

A good question. I don’t have an answer as there doesn’t appear to be a peaceful solution through voting or the courts. Any public demonstration/strike is going to trigger Insurrection Act/ martial law and a further descent into totalitarianism. Maybe Blue States secede from the union.

Be interesting to see what company is used to receive these funds and how they will be treated in accounts and to HMRC. Is it a requirement in law (electoral) to show where these funds have been paid to and what they are used for?
