Stations are ready for a cooking party! We’re making chai cookies, green bean casserole, dressing, and chili. I’ve got my mocktail stuff ready too! Two grandmas, two moms, one aunt and two grandkids will be here soon! Oh, I’m about to make cheeseburger soup for lunch too. Fun day ahead! 🥰🍽️🍜

Cornbread and bread are crumbled and ready to dry out for dressing. Will leave them in the oven until tomorrow. It’s a little warm from baking cornbread which will help it along. 🍜🍽️

I always do a mocktail station with fancy glasses and a fun drink for cooking days. This year, I’m making cubes with a combo of orange, pineapple, and cranberry juice with orange and lime zest and fresh cranberries. Will serve with sparkling water or sprite 😊🍽️🍜

My great grandmother and my grandmother’s Better Homes and Gardens cook books My grandfather’s cracker tin, grandmother’s grease container, and my great grandmother’s rolling pin. Next to it in another cabinet, my late father in laws lunchbox (which was his father’s too), and vintage blue glass jars. Vintage Pyrex casserole dishes from my late mother-in-law next to a meat grinder owned by my grandfather in law. A green glass deviled egg tray next to a silver platter both owned by my great aunt

Starting Thanksgiving prep and missing my Grandma. This is her dressing bowl and mixer. She made her “famous” dressing in this bowl every year. I have it on display because it’s cracked and I don’t want to damage it further. Thinking of her this week ❤️.

Seared the meatballs and then added them back into my sauce. Will simmer to finish the cook and then top with fresh mozzarella and parmesan. Ingredient details in the pictures below. 🥰🍽️🍜

Ingredients include 1 lb lean ground turkey, 1lb Italian ground turkey, 1/2c breadcrumbs, 1 egg, 1 tbsp beef bouillon, 1 tbsp tomato bouillon, 1 cup finely diced bell peppers, 1/2 yellow onion finely diced, one egg, 2tbsp Italian seasonings. Seared meatballs resting in a pan in red sauce. The sauce includes 1 lg can crushed tomatoes, 1 regular can of tomato sauce, a couple cloves minced garlic, 1/2 onion minced, 1/4 cup pepperoncini minced, fresh parsley, basil, oregano, crushed red pepper, tomato bouillon, and 1/2 cup of red wine.

Made this today with extra stuff from Halloween and some Christmas ribbon. Goes well with the garland. I added ribbon bows and cinnamon sticks to the garland too. 🥰

Soup is good! The onions give the lentils and tomato broth some meatiness and sweetness. Finished with more caramelized onions, parmesan and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. 😍🍽️🍜😍
