I think it's a good thing for people to start embracing the idea that, assuming we have a country left after Trump has passed it through his digestive tract, whoever comes after him is going to spend a lot of time cleaning up his mess instead of governing as expected.

I work for a government contractor, so there's a part of me that's glad the shutdown is over, but I had saved up a few months worth of mortgage payments so that I could do my part while the Democrats supposedly did theirs. I'm trying to reconcile the relief I feel with the disappointment and anger.
