Kaolin and bentonite are a pain in the arse to clean up, bit thy do a fine job of binding up some nasties and settling them out of solutions

The dishwasher should be hot enough to melt beeswax and it’s nowhere near hot enough to “fire” clay. Dishwasher powder/tablets are strongly caustic, & the cleaners are acidic to shift the things they won’t

So, my reckons, get a dishwasher cleaner or two and run them through the extravagant hot wash
