On May 21, 1996, The Wallflowers released its second album, Bringing Down the Horse. While most of the singles that were released from it were successful, they were ineligible to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 at the time because they didn’t receive a commercial release in the United States. The album itself peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 album chart.

Hilary Duff has released "Roommates" from her forthcoming album, Luck... or Something.

Musically, this is a midtempo pop track with hints of an EDM feel in its arrangement. It's a song about the dissolution of a relationship, and Hilary's vocals sell the theme.

Check it out and see what you think.

Recently, sister duo Appleton released "Falling Into You." This is the first new release from them in over 20 years.

This is a pop song with great vocal harmonies. Musically, it kind of sounds like it takes some influence from 2000's pop music.

Check it out and see what you think.

This was a song that I only heard while listening to Casey Kasem’s chart show, because my local Top 40 radio station refused to play until it became a number one hit.

ILLENIUM has released "Feel Alive," a collaboration with Bastille and Dabin.

Musically, the track sounds like it takes some influence from 2010's EDM but places a modern sheen on it. The vocal delivery is a perfect fit for this arrangement.

SUPER-Hi and Luke Spiller have released a cover of Gotye and Kimbra's "Somebody That I Used to Know."

I like the original, but I think this is a well-done cover. While this may not have two vocalists on it, I felt that it worked with a solo vocalist.

Check it out and see what you think.
