I noticed a price tag on this Apple IIc box: December 18, 1987, $949.00

IMHO, that is pricey for a computer that came out in 1984! This was just for the computer, no monitor or mouse.

I couldn't agree more.

Unfortunately this is also one of the biggest issues with the "Just put Linux on it" movement. It's great for power users and nerds, but the wild variation of Linux distributions makes troubleshooting for non power users very hard.

As agents were driving away, they pointed a pepper ball gun and then a real gun at Chris Gentry, a combat veteran who was lawfully standing on the side of the road. The agent who pointed the real gun at Mr. Gentry’s face said “bang, bang,” and “you’re dead liberal.”

It's 2025 and things as basic as printing still fail randomly. Sometimes, when I go to print, the job just ends up with the status "Sent to printer, Error."

What the hell does this mean? Printing a second time just works. Why? WHO KNOWS! #enshitificaiton

Ahh Patreon, being as janky as possible while taking a massive cut of creator earnings.

Nice.

I love technology but "only cloud connected" shit is stupid. Just ask gamers who can't play old games they own because the servers have shut down...

The AWS outage caused chaos for owners of Eight Sleep’s Pod3 mattresses as they had no offline mode and were stuck at high temperatures.

I fired my iPhone to install the latest iOS.

Wow!

The whole glass look is so ugly, what a massive downgrade. Notifications are hard to read now they have a clear glass background. Everything has massively round corners.

Who thought this was a good idea?

Great news everyone!

Mark your calendars because for the first time since 2019, VCF Pacific Northwest is happening.

It's be held just south of Seattle on May 2 and 3, 2026.

I love it when stuff like this happens!

I posted a video about a Franklin Ace 10 floppy drive which was owned by a middle school in the small town of Richland, Washington, and someone who likely used the drive happens to be one of my viewers.

Today, while listening to the radio, I heard a song from the artist NoSo.

That feeling of hearing a song for the first time that cuts right through to your soul. Wow.

Matt Desmond has released Des-test Kernal for the C64.

Instead of being a cart you plug in, this is a KERNAL replacement that can fully test all of the C64's RAM in an extremely thorough way. Much better test than any other existing test for the C64.

Ugh, I'm trying to edit a video while feeling slightly trashy. I got my COVID-19 and Flu shots yesterday, and I think they are catching up with me.

A little hurt now is 100000x better than getting full blown versions of either later.

Time to make some spicy ramen! That always helps!
