I stayed one minute away and had some time to kill before checking out. I was surprised at how good it was - wish I’d had more time!

Yes I agree. But I’d add that some of our ideas remain Butler’s, especially exaggeration/responsiveness and partisan bias. (I think that’s right - it’s a long time since I worked on this, but I’m fairly sure he invented those.)

I hope you also tell your students that there was a lot more to it than that! It’s remarkable what conceptual innovations he also made, as well as empirical insights (e.g. cube law).
