There's some real frustrating tug-of-war in the Wizards/DriveThru relationship.

Definitely think that Wizards is leaving money (and a better community/resource!) on the table by being extremely hands-off.

That's one thing I appreciate about these videos too — the teacher is explaining things like "this code exists because we need to check if the player is holding a key when they press another and we don't want to change the animation in that case, so that's why there's extra checks."

Also a bit of a pain in the ass when you get one tiny thing wrong and have to zoom back and forth in the video to find that line of code and transcribe it correctly ... but that forced me to double-check a bunch of things! :P

I think the process from announce -> no more pennies being given as change was about a year, in Canada. But obviously there were a couple years of planningn before THAT.

If that's your goal, I think you need to say a bit more about what makes NovelWriter the better choice. :D
