My story on Elon Musk cutting safeguards at xAI is on the front page of today's @washingtonpost.com. I’m also among 100’s of reporters laid off. The corruption went into overdrive even before the inauguration. People saying that the American system of checks and balances is holding are detached from reality. When it comes to checking corruption, they don’t seem to exist.

I met so many heroic observers on the ground today, folks I’m starting to see every day. I still don’t know real names, but there are certain pseudonyms who are always out there and that make me feel safe. I’m meeting neighbors when we discover we’re rapid response together. Community is how we win.
