Final edit of NGC 1499, for this year. I think this is as good as I can get it. The nebula is too noisy, but think only more exposure time will fix that. Sadly, the weather has given a very firm, "no," to more astro time.

I got my new astro camera early in October, but we have not had a clear night.... until last night. The weather was not perfect, though. I only 3hrs total exposure (123x90s). It's been so long, I've forgotten my processing process.

A couple nights shooting the LBN 549 region, with the Bubble Nebula, M 52 star cluster, and several other sights. 703*90s total exposure, shooting against a full moon.

The Cygnus Loop. It is 45x180s exposure time. Shot using an Ha/Oiii filter. The Cygnus Loop is a super nova remnant, about 120 light years across, and is 2670 light years from us. It is an emission nebula, meaning it emits light as opposed to reflecting it.

The Cygnus Loop. It is 45x180s exposure time. Shot using an Ha/Oiii filter. The Cygnus Loop is a super nova remnant, about 120 light years across, and is 2670 light years from us. It is an emission nebula, meaning it emits light as opposed to reflecting it.
The North America and Pelican Nebulas. Shot the night of 7/17/2025. 44x180s exposure. First time playing with the new beta of Siril, with all the new Astro Seti scripts. This was with mostly default settings, so lots of room for tuning.
