He's great, he's weird, he's authentically charming but in those moments of pain, of loss, of grief, of hesitation, despair? He really cannot nail those *at all* and it pulls me out of the scene. I am reminded I'm watching Jeff Goldblum.
Love the actor but not the best fit for the whole character.
