Join us as we head to D.C. to meet with Sens Capito and Justice to tell them how important Medicaid is to our state.
Congress is moving on the "One Big Beautiful Bill" act, an ugly bill that would cut hundreds of billions of dollars from Medicaid and deny coverage to some 65,000 West Virginians.

The right to criticize officials is the foundation of democracy.
Parkersburg is barring people from so much as mentioning council members at meetings and is trying to control the topics people may discuss during public comments.
City officials can grow thicker skin or we'll see them in court.

Yesterday we gathered at the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma with thousands of others to celebrate and memorialize those who marched and endured violence in the fight for voting rights for all.
Sixty years later we recommit ourselves to the fight so that everyone can vote freely, fairly and safely.

The Trump and Morrisey administrations want to undo generations of progress in addressing racial discrimination against Black people.
No matter what, we will always fight for a version of “We the People” that includes everyone.

Mingo County can't pump water to homes because it's snowing. Once water is back on, it will be unsafe to drink unless boiled.
Just one example of the deplorable state of our infrastructure.
But officials just sent $5 million in water development funds to a right-wing Catholic school in Ohio.
