Public records from the past few years show that out of the hundreds of Californians who were disfigured by attack dogs:
⚠️Most were unarmed,
⚠️About half exhibited signs of mental crisis before the dog was released,
⚠️And many were suspected only of a minor offense, or no offense at all.

AB 400 will lock in the abusive use of police attack dogs in California.

The bill was written by police lobbyists working to undermine true reform of the use of police attack dogs which have mauled and disfigured thousands of Californians.

We have real solutions to the urgent housing crisis in California. Research shows we need less than 6% of the state budget per year to fund affordable housing, rental support, and homelessness services.

The CA Housing Justice Act (#AB1165) calls for bold, ongoing investment—not temporary Band-Aids.

Housing is intrinsically connected to our civil rights.

Without stable housing, freedoms like privacy and equal protection under the law are at risk. This is why one-time funding initiatives like bonds aren’t enough – we need a permanent funding source dedicated to housing in California.

The wildfires devastation in Southern California is a sobering reminder of how housing precarity can affect anyone at any time. We call on our state leaders to safeguard unhoused Californians against Trump's extreme agenda and create a permanent funding source for housing access.

Our state legislators must do everything they can to protect people by strengthening our digital defenses and keeping information about Californians – in California – and out of the hands of the Trump administration.

California has the power to say no to Trump’s extremist agenda. Here's what California’s state legislators can do to build safeguards for our immigrant communities.

We’re calling on #CALeg to protect us against policies that seek to undermine our democracy, vilify our immigrant friends & loved ones, treat women as anything less than equal, degrade members of the LGBTQ community, and that oppress BIPOC folks.

The Trump administration's threats for mass arrest and deportation are already in action — as seen in reports from Kern County.

We're ready to work with California state legislators to fight back against Trump's draconian policies that seek to vilify our immigrant friends and loved ones.
