Retired left leaning Labour supporter. Live and let live and whenever possible be kind, you really never know what is going on in other people’s lives.
I’m quite sad about this, I told my husband his reply was “Who’s Tom Stoppard” I do wonder why I’m married to him😂

Clapton guitar solo’s were amazing. I saw him several times in concert in small venues, he was amazing but as it turns out a horrible person 🤯

Everybody has different priorities and it’s impossible to please them all. The majority of people want a society that works for all, unfortunately a section of the population are selfish and don’t understand the concept of society. If gov policies don’t benefit them directly they object 🤷‍♀️

Clapton was my hero, he could certainly make that guitar sing. Then I read about his character and I still love his music but I can’t buy an album or pay for a concert ticket, thank goodness I had seen him several times before I read about his racism and alleged wife beating🤯

People lives are being improved. 30 hrs free childcare is a real boost, increase in minimum wage is much needed. Free breakfast clubs, more free school meals, freezing rail fares. Plus workers rights bill and renters bill. All these are improving lives.

Could it be delayed to give employers time to implement changes?

Will this affect NHS workers who make contributions to their pension?

I think they are both as bad as each other but I think his followers know what he is like and TBF he has held his seat for over 40 years I doubt he will lose it next time. Also he appears to have been less vocal than Sultana.

Not directly but they do help stop corporate fraud and stop companies hiding their directors identities.
November 29, 2025 at 8:52 PM
To be honest it doesn’t bother me who implemented it. It’s a really good change and if it stops company fraud does it matter who brought it in.
November 29, 2025 at 8:39 PM
But Tories still hadn’t implemented it, it was another thing that got pushed back. It is important as it ensures that ownership of companies is transparent and they cannot avoid liabilities

But how do you know they came from Labour. There was a post a few days ago, a guy claiming to work at HMT saying “we have been leaking on behalf of senior Labour MPs involved in power struggles” when I challenged him he replied saying he didn’t “but knew how it worked” so just lies, I blocked him.

65% and increasing weekly. Better with Labour 👏👏👏👏

Most MPs post on X/Facebook/instagram. More are joining Bluesky but it’s a slow trickle.

Dropping in the polls now though 👏

Agreed, I’m 70 and like many my age, still work in feet/inches+ lbs/ozs but I’d happily accept the euro if it meant we could rejoin.

Road trip music love it
November 29, 2025 at 4:28 PM
Because it isn’t really UK call. Even if the EU agreed, which isn’t a given, we won’t get the same terms as before. EU will likely insist we join the Euro (makes it more difficult to withdraw again) and for a lot of people that will be redline. Plus Farage if he gets power will take us out again

This was very predictable, pit her ego against Corbyn’s and this what you end up with. However I am slightly surprised at how petulant she is, I can’t imagine her constituents voting for her again TBH🤯
November 29, 2025 at 4:16 PM
No it was compiled by somebody in response to a poster saying Labour weren’t taxing wealth. I should have kept it up to date but haven’t had time.
