Retired left leaning Labour supporter. Live and let live and whenever possible be kind, you really never know what is going on in other people’s lives.
It is part of a package of wealth taxes. This list is just a few, it hasn’t been updated for a while. Lots of these measures are designed to stop people being able to hide their wealth.

This is just what’s happened this WEEK. They are making major changes that will hugely improve people’s lives. I don’t think it is unreasonable to expect when media briefs are issued the media publish them to ensure the public are informed of what Gov is doing.

Labour have put numerous taxes on wealth. But as Warren says nobody ever defines what they mean by a “wealth tax”. Only Norway/Spain/Switzerland have a net wealth tax but Spain are changing theirs because of problems. 4 countries have a tax on assets but that’s very difficult/costly to manage.

There has been vast amounts of investment, this is just this week;

This was a list from 2 months ago. It it was compiled today if would be at least 3 pages long.

There is no focus on fighting reform.
Here is a list of what Labour have done in the past 14 months. This is from several month ago there has been far more. I just haven’t updated the list.

Have you seen the replies most of us got to our complaints? Sorry there’s no alt text. But double click to enlarge it.
September 9, 2025 at 5:47 PM
Loads of us have and we have all had the same nonsense reply.
September 8, 2025 at 5:37 PM
The same as mine. I’m going to take it further. It’s nonsense, reform aren’t challenged. Since when do they judge the popularity of a party based on polling 4 years out from a general election or on local election results. If they did that they would have been promoting Labour in 23/24 they weren’t
September 8, 2025 at 5:24 PM
I complained and this was my reply. It proves they are deliberately focus on reform. Sorry no alt text but if you double click you can read it

BBC just look at this reply from them to a complaint I made about them having him on tv more than any other party and not challenging his policies sorry it’s not alt text but I think if you double click it’s easier to read.

Here’s the reply, sorry it’s so small;
September 5, 2025 at 10:34 AM
