Boston’s zoning code is one of the most complicated in the country — and it’s holding back new homes. 🏘️

On Nov 4, you have the power to change that. Elect leaders ready to simplify our outdated rules and build the homes we need.

Can you define zoning in five words or less? 👀

I’m proud to be endorsed by @abundanthousingma.org! I’m committed to making sure working families & seniors can afford to live in MA. As your Worcester D2 City Councilor, I’ll work hard to build more safe & affordable housing, secure protections for tenants, & reform exclusionary zoning policies.

Boston can’t force the Fed to lower interest rates, but we should pursue an approach similar to what Cambridge has done: increase capacity across the whole city (not just small areas) and combine that with policies that protect affordable housing developments from getting targeted by stupid lawsuits
Given the desire for more action and dissatisfaction with current approaches, Boston residents showed broad support for a variety of policies that would make it easier to build more homes and increase housing choices. Support for these policies was strongest among renters and younger households.

📊 New poll: Bostonians want more housing.

Large majorities of both renters + homeowners support bold reforms to tackle the city’s housing shortage — and most say not enough has been done. 🏙️

A new poll from @massincpolling.bsky.social and @abundanthousingma.org shows that Bostonians overwhelmingly: 1) reject the status quo, 2) want more homes built, and 3) think city officials should take action.

Local leaders have a charge from the voters: pass pro-housing policies. Like, now.
