I might be little biased, since I letter the print edition, but I truly believe that Tank Chair deserves to be a huge smash hit. It has the gritty feel of '90s cyberpunk manga, mixed with a quirky sense of humor & intelligence. Manabu Yashiro's art is really unique & awesome too. Don't sleep on it!

I might be little biased, since I letter the print edition, but I truly believe that Tank Chair deserves to be a huge smash hit. It has the gritty feel of '90s cyberpunk manga, mixed with a quirky sense of humor & intelligence. Manabu Yashiro's art is really unique & awesome too. Don't sleep on it!

Ten volumes! Otaku Elf was the very first book I worked on, five years ago this month. So grateful to still be working on it. It's a real difficult book at times, but I love it so much.

Ten volumes! Otaku Elf was the very first book I worked on, five years ago this month. So grateful to still be working on it. It's a real difficult book at times, but I love it so much.

A huge part of retouching manga is trying to understand how the image was drawn in the first place. On paper, this page would have pen, brush, whiteout, screen tones, etc., applied in different orders. Here is whiteout that cuts through the sound effect and foliage, with the screen tone over it.
